"Hello to 2 0 1 2"

When we reflect on the year 2011, let’s find gratitude and appreciation for our personal growth, accomplishments, realizations and blessings that have occurred for us. Sometimes we can get swept up in focusing so much on the challenges and upsets of life that we forget to focus on the positive elements. This is a moment to pause and reflect on our blessings. Gratitude reminds us that our experiences have purpose and the feelings of gratitude can bring peace and calm to our mind and emotions.
With gratitude in our hearts, we can welcome the New Year of 2012 as an opportunity for increased empowerment both personally and collectively. Change is at the center of the times we are in and change need not be feared. Change is what makes each of us grow and expand. Being open to change allows for a positive flow and flexibility with the process.
Many messages have been written by our Elders, The Hopi’s, The Maya, The Profits, Sages and Seers throughout time about the change of Ages and cycles on this planet. We are now at the turning of an Age as a 5115 year cycle ends 12/21/2012 and a new Age begins. This cycle as measured by the Mayan calendar is an end point and a beginning point. During this changing of Ages, we are drawn inward to personal reflection of what needs to be released and discarded and what needs to be owned and embraced. This is a time to let go of our fears and allows our spirit to express freely.
Astrologically, we have a potent upcoming year influenced by Uranus and Pluto bringing transformation and social change to our planet. From the numerological standpoint, 2012 brings in the influence of the number five. This represents change, transformation, travel and creativity.
We are becoming increasingly aware of how our thoughts and feelings affect life around us, so being clear about what we want is important as we move forward. In other words, you and I can make a difference by consciously creating a more harmonious and healthy world to live in.
Sometimes the scope of information regarding changes and prophecy can be overwhelming. I personally make an effort to find balance by remembering to live each day being as true to my values as possible. For me, that includes eating healthy life-sustaining foods for an efficient body, looking for the beauty in nature that surrounds me and appreciating my loved ones.
Living life in integrity with kindness, generosity and the desire to learn and grow keeps me connected to living life without fear. Who you are and how you live contributes to all of life. Know that we create our own reality. With transformation consistently at the doorway of our hearts, let’s remember the power of our love and light. Our true power resides in knowing that our light can transform any darkness, any fear, any pain and any illusion. Our awakening is to realize this and to reclaim our freedom to KNOW this.
This is the dawning of 2012. May your light shine bright.
"The Gem of Courage II"

Our journey in life brings us experiences that occasionally surprise and challenge us. At some point we, or someone we love may face a personal health issue that gets our attention. This personal journey of healing can be a profound one of introspection and insight.
From my personal experience of healing to witnessing others healing, I have discovered a quality-in-common. This quality is “the gem of courage” . In the brightest moment as well as in the darkest moment, the gem of courage burns deep within. This gem is connected to a force that goes beyond the circumstance and moves us to seek answers and guidance for our empowerment.
This gem of courage gives us the energy to look into our fears and dispel them. This gem of courage also assists us in letting go of unnecessary attachments. Even our mortality and the value of life can be contemplated. Philosophies and belief systems can be questioned. Appreciation can be enhanced and empathy gained.
In trying times like these, a positive attitude reinforces the body's natural healing abilities. Trust in your power to align with your vision of healing. Having the intention to heal points you in the direction of healing. Being able to relax and let go allows the body to be receptive to the flow of healing energy. Allow the heart chakra to open to the increasing flow of love and grace. Remember that Grace is an available force to call upon and nature is your healing ally.
The path of healing gives us an opportunity to blend systems of care. Blending the best of holistic ways with traditional ways often occurs and can enhance the effectiveness of both. More and more alternative therapies are being interwoven with traditional medicine. It is not uncommon to find nurses or technicians who have been trained in Reiki, message or other helpful techniques. The methods can weave together effectively expanding the perspectives of everyone involved.
If you find yourself or a loved one facing a healing challenge, look for and be grateful for the smallest of details. The energy of gratitude nourishes the body, mind and spirit. Trust the intelligence of the body to heal and be kind to it with inner thoughts and feelings that feed the cells with life. Choose new, vibrant cells through your power of creation. Understanding your power of creation is part of the healing journey.
Remember that the “gem of courage” is within each of us. Its power is dynamic and is yours for the knowing .

"Honoring Mother Earth"
Stepping lightly upon the Earth, feel the strength of our Mother.
With each step, breathe the breath of her air.
Her sacred waters nourish and nurture our bones.
The fire within her belly reminds us of her birthing power.
As she expresses her seasonal rhythms,
She gives and takes, she renews and destroys,
She ebbs and flows, she moves as Nature's voice.
Privileged are the feet that walk upon her.
Honored are we who journey with her.
She is the pulse of Life revealing itself moment to moment.
Gazing at her through eyes of gratitude and hearts of love, we honor her.
We are her children dancing the dance of Life in our Mother's embrace.
May we listen to her song and learn from her the meaning of honor.
May each breath fill us with her presence and awaken us to our
Highest potential as we step lightly upon our Mother Earth.
Your Love and Light is needed.
